CONTEST RULES
ELIGIBILITY:
The Great Southwest Prize Package Contest is open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence. This contest is void where prohibited and residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter. Contest entries must be received by midnight December 31, 2010, Central Standard Time.
To be considered eligible, contestants must submit their entry online. No purchase necessary. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized owner of the email account from which they were sent.
Employees of, and immediate family members or those residing with an employee of Mooseworld Inc., Saskatchewan Southwest Tourism Association and their respective agents and representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries and dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, sponsors, suppliers of prizes, materials or services related to this contest are not eligible to enter this contest. "Immediate family" is defined as parents, siblings, children, spouse or partner.
SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF SELECTED ENTRANT:
The chances of winning the Great Southwest Prize Package will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Entry into the contest may be made by successfully completing the Contest Entry Form. To be eligible for the Great Southwest Prize Package draw, all fields must be completed in full on the Contest Entry Form. Only one (1) entry will be permitted per email address. A random draw will be made on or about January 1, 2011 by the contest organizer from all eligible entries received.
To be declared a winner and claim the prize package, the selected entrant must: (a) be reached by phone or email by the contest organizer within five business days of the random draw; (b) correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, the following skill-testing question: (Multiply 10 times 4; add 10 to the total; divide the new total by 10); (c) be eligible according to these contest rules and sign a Declaration and Release form that will be sent by mail, fax or e-mail, and return it, duly completed to the contest organizer within five business days of its receipt.
The Declaration and Release requires a potential winner to confirm, except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize as awarded, eligibility to participate in this contest and compliance with these rules and to release Mooseworld Inc., Saskatchewan Southwest Tourism Association and their sponsors and advertising and promotional agencies, and suppliers of prizes, materials or services related to this contest, and the independent contest organization, and all of their respective employees, directors, officers, shareholders, agents, successors and assigns from any liability and damages which could arise from the awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize. Failure to comply with any of the above conditions or otherwise with the rules, will result in the disqualification of the selected entrant. In this event, a new random draw from the remaining valid entries received would be performed to award the prize. Upon receipt of the Declaration and Release form, the contest organizer will notify the winner of the manner in which he/she will have to take possession of the prize. The contest organizer reserves the right to determine how the presentation of the prize will occur and this may be either a media event, by mail, or in person. No prize substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of the contest organizer or sponsor.
The Great Southwest Prize Package winner and his/her travelling companion are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein including, without limitation, ground transportation, all meals and beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, all insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature, together with any applicable overnight layover. Departure dates, hotel accommodation and campgrounds are subject to availability and change without notice or compensation. Prize winner and his/her travelling companion are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the departure point as the prize originates and terminates there. The contest organizer and sponsor reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at their discretion.
By entering this contest, the winner authorizes the contest organizer, sponsor and their representatives to use in any related publicity, if required, his/her name, photograph, image, any statements he/she may make regarding the prize, place of residence and/or voice for advertising purposes worldwide in perpetuity and in any form of media including the Internet, without any form of compensation.
OTHER
Mooseworld Inc., Saskatchewan Southwest Tourism Association and their advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents and representatives may not be held liable for, (i) late, lost, delayed, not received, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, stolen, fraudulent, postage due or illegible entries (all of which entries shall be automatically void and not eligible for a prize); (ii) failure to receive entries due to transmission failures, busy signals, traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, servers, access providers, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or recipient, or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest and breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer "hackers". Any person entering this contest or trying to do so by any means which go against the intention of these Rules and which would be unfair to the other participants (example: computer hacking, fraudulent use of access codes or obtaining such access codes through fraudulent means, etc.) will be automatically disqualified and the contest organizer and sponsor reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The contest organizer and sponsor reserve the right in their sole discretion to modify or cancel all or any portions of the contest because of technical errors or malfunctions, viruses, hackers, or for other reasons that corrupt the contest in any manner.
Mooseworld Inc., Saskatchewan Southwest Tourism Association, and prize sponsors are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising out of a participant's participation in this contest or the acceptance, possession or use of the prize.
Entry into the contest is subject to all federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related materials, including but not limited to the contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these rules shall prevail, govern and control.
The decisions of the contest organizer and sponsor are final and binding in all matters related to this contest, including but not limited to eligibility of entries, awarding of prizes and correctness of answers given to skill testing questions. Entry into this contest signifies your agreement to comply with these rules.
