With 800 km of shoreline and expansive waterways, Lake Diefenbaker is known across Saskatchewan for golfing, boating and fishing.

Lake Diefenbaker features marinas, golf courses and three major parks, including Sask Landing Provincial Park, Danielson Provincial Park, and Douglas Provincial Park. The lake is adjacent to the Coteau Hills, which offer rugged hills, wooded valleys and winding trails.

Sask Landing is the site of historic Goodwin House. This landmark building was a stagecoach station back in 1900 and served as a dispatch for nine years by the North West Mounted Police. Areas to explore in Lake Diefenbaker include the historic Battleford Trail at Sask Landing, Mistusinne Rock at Douglas Provincial Park and the Outlook Sky Trail.

IF YOU GO: Lake Diefenbaker is 45 km north of Swift Current, 119 km northeast of Moose Jaw and 135 km south of Saskatoon. Attractions in the Lake Diefenbaker area include the Clearwater Drive-In Theatre, Sage View Golf Course and Living Sky Casino. Surrounding communities include Kyle, Elbow, Outlook, and Kenaston.
